June 13th CONQUEST OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (DVD)

CONQUEST OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is the fourth in the original series and one of the strangest. It takes place only 20 years after the end of the third, but the differences are immense. A little dated since it was made in 1972 but still enjoyable. Couple of interesting notes. One is the racial slur said in the movie that a black man should know all about the apes, suggesting that he is closer to them then the white men. The second is that the later movie I, ROBOT has a very similar story line, in terms of servitude and rebellion.
