Sept 10th Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D

Why do director's and studios insist on making these movies 3D when there is nothing in the movie that warrants 3D. Live action films do not look good enough yet for the technology, it is only with animated films that you get the real benefits and affect of 3D.
To add to that this version of the franchise is not as good as the other ones. Starts out pretty cool but there isn't enough action and not enough special effects. The ending is a WHAT? Am sure they could have come up with a better and more exciting ending.
Maybe they will get it right next time.
And of course there is a Toronto connection. See if you can recognise a famous University of Toronto Landmark that is used for a model for a building in the movie. That is if you want to just space out for an hour and half and be slightly entertained.
