Yes I watched this instead of BLOOD SIMPLE, only because the latter is rented for 7 days and this one was for 2 days.
I really enjoyed DESCENT when I saw it in the theatre, with a friend. I cant say I liked this sequel though.
There are a lot of characters but no character development. There is very little development for the character from the last movie, except about half way through.
There is a little more of the monsters but they don't explain them either.
Looks like the are leaving it for DESCENT Part 3.
That one will be an STD movie as well I am sure.
STD = Straight To DVD.
