AFTER DARK FILM FESTIVAL Centurion Aug 18th

My second film of Toronto After Dark Film Festival 2010, Centurion, was a good movie but not a great one.

The scenery is amazing and the look even of the large army and fortress shots are quite realistic.
The story is from a 2000 year old legend, that talks of a Roman Legion that was lost behind enemy lines
in Northern Britan and the few surviours who had to fight every step of their way back to Roman territory.
Even with being a bit predictable and with a little less historical accuracy then expected Centurion is
still a very enjoyable and entering movie.

The feature was preceded by a Canadian short, Sock Tease, about a new student in school who is very
different then eveyone else, that was quite weird and to me not funny at all. Even shock value could not save this short.

  1. I enjoyed the way you described the feature length film "Centurion" and the short "Sock Tease" without given the plot or story twist away. A very good review.
