These are short reviews of the movies I watch. Each posting will have the movie title and the date watched as well as which theatre I saw it at or whether it was watched on DVD. I will only be telling you if I enjoyed the movie or not and a bit about the look and feel of the movie, not about what happens. For that you will have to watch the movie.

Sept 16th HANAAN (TIFF, Scotiabank Theatre #2)
The story is a common one about friendship and drug abuse. What makes HANAAN different is that the main characters are Koreans, who live in Uzbekistan.I liked the movie a lot, except for when the makers try to get too artsy with the material. I do not want to guess what happens, show me.
