In 1990 a documentary, about the gay dance ball scene in New York City took the festival circuit by storm. LEAVE IT ON THE DANCE FLOOR covers the same subject, yet in a drama/ comedy/ musical way. The movie is fun, entertaining and quite sweet. The only problem is that the production quality is not really that high. The actors are all first timers and this lack of experience shows through. If you can get over this weakness, you can have a really good time watching this movie.
These are short reviews of the movies I watch. Each posting will have the movie title and the date watched as well as which theatre I saw it at or whether it was watched on DVD. I will only be telling you if I enjoyed the movie or not and a bit about the look and feel of the movie, not about what happens. For that you will have to watch the movie.
