While hard at work one day, my colleague and I found some one's top 20 list on the Internet. The one that I had not seen is called DEAD SILENCE. So of course I went out and rented it. The movie deals with a young wife's mysterious murder, and the young husband's quest to find her killer. This of course leads him back to his home town and to the legend of a strange and frightening woman who apparently was obsessed with ventriloquist dolls. The main problem is
that there is never any real sense of danger to any of the characters, and very few scary parts. Although it ends strong, it was not enough to really enjoy the entire movie. Again the lighting was too dark to really enjoy the sets and the props. So my co-worker really enjoyed this movie, I found it to be just okay.
