July 3rd A SOLDIER'S STORY (DVD)

Another classic movie, that I never watched before so decided to watch now. A SOLDIER'S STORY is a little dating in terms of subject matter but the acting makes up for it. Like a lot of Norman Jewison's movies it plays out like a theatre piece. It also stars a very young Denzel Washington.
