5 PICTURES OF A FATHER is a short film that shows how five different women, of different ages, view their fathers. Of course it helps that each father is a very different person with a life of his own. Hmm, could that have been the point of the movie?
BOY CHEERLEADERS is a doc about an all boys cheerleading squad that is in the UK Cheerleading Nationals. A very enjoyable and well made movie showing us the real character of these young boys and their family lives and outlook on life as well. The problem is that it only shows a little about the coach and some boys in the squad are not shown at all. Still a very funny and poignant movie and am really glad they did not add subtitles, even with the thick northern England accents. This is Canada people, we speak the same language, just doesn't always sound the same.
