These are short reviews of the movies I watch. Each posting will have the movie title and the date watched as well as which theatre I saw it at or whether it was watched on DVD. I will only be telling you if I enjoyed the movie or not and a bit about the look and feel of the movie, not about what happens. For that you will have to watch the movie.

May 6th THOR 3D
Almost everything is coming out in 3D nowadays and there is no real reason for it. 3D only makes a difference to a movie if that movie is animated. Or in the case of AVATAR made with CGI. Live action movies like THOR, which is a very entertaining movie, can be just as enjoyable in 2D. If you are like me and impatiently awaiting the big blockbuster of the AVENGERS movie in 2012, then you need to see these movies to set up who the characters are and tell thier stories. You will see THOR again in the AVENGERS movie alongside IRONMAN, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, BLACK WIDOW, CAPTAIN AMERICA and you will also see a character named HAWKEYE. You will notice Hawkeye in THOR, all you need to know is that his weapon of choice is a bow and arrow.

I agree 99% of 3d movies are made as an excuse by movie companies to extact more money from you at th box office be smart boycott these movies you are not missing anything. I saw Thor in 2d and it was a good movie I thought that the time on earth could have been longer and the ending a little weak but if you enjoy the old time avengers and some comedy you you will enjoy this movie in 2d KARATEBOY
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment KRATEBOY. Yes we do need to be smarter movie consumers or the companies will continue to exploit us for higher ticket prices, with giving us very little in return.
