These are short reviews of the movies I watch. Each posting will have the movie title and the date watched as well as which theatre I saw it at or whether it was watched on DVD. I will only be telling you if I enjoyed the movie or not and a bit about the look and feel of the movie, not about what happens. For that you will have to watch the movie.

April 28th FIGHTVILLE (HOT DOCS)
FIGHTVILLE is a documentary that follows two young martial artist on their road to becoming fighters in the UFC. The movie shows the determination and hard training these fighters have to go through, both physically and emotionally in order to reach their goal. Not just for MMA (mixed martial arts) fans but a great story on following your dreams and putting in the hard work necessary to realize your dreams. The main fighter and his trainer were in attendance at the extravagant Winter Garden Theatre. The Winter Garden and Elgin Theatre is one of the world's surviving double decker theatres and is rich in history as well as elegance. I just wish the seats were more comfortable.
