Watching a Steven Segal movie is like gambling while watching a train wreck. Some of his movies are enjoyable and even fun but most are kinda stupid but still entertaining in a B movie kinda way.
INTO THE SUN is beyond stupid, its American arrogance. Having the FBI and CIA in Japan, having a white guy who Japanese people want to learn sword fighting from and worse of all believing that your audience is too dumb to know about Japan and ways of people like Yakusa. The story makes little sense and would never unfold that way. The action is limited in what there is an in how it is done. The characters are either two dimensional or totally unbelievable or often both. This has got to be one of the worst Steven Segal movies I have ever seen.
