The third Earth Day release from DISNEYnature, and obviously the best of the three. AFRICAN CATS has an actually storyline, interesting characters that are clearly shown, and some really great nature photography. One of the problems is that some shots are too close and doesn't show the true majesty of these creatures, and then it zooms out a little too far to try and show the abundance of some animals.
It is worth the price of admission to not only see these animals on the big screen but part of the profit from the first week will go to actually helping the cats of Africa. The movie shows the real power of the African lion in ways never before seen in a nature documentary.
