This weekend is the 8th annual TJSFF. I have been attending this festival every year since it started and it is usually filled with very funny and very innovated short films from Japan and about Japan. There are also some great sci-fi films as well as amazing animation.
This year festival has a more somber fell to it and it is not because everyone is thinking about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan last week. The movies seem to be less joking and less funny but are still very high quality and very enjoyable to watch.
The festival wraps up on sunday.
