Cristian Bale (THE DARK KNIGHT, THE MACHINIST) does an excellent job and captures the real life Dicky amazingly well. Mark Whalberg (SHOOTER, FEAR) does a good job as always as well, with a role that seems perfect for him. A very entertaining and well written movie but is it good enough to win Best Picture, I do not think so but there is not many movies out there this year to give it real competition, at least not many that the Academy will like to give an Oscar to.
