With seeing so many movies over the years there comes a time when you see a DVD that looks interesting so you watch it only to find out later that you have already seen this movie. Sometimes you get lucky and the movie is worth watching again. Sometimes it has been so long since you seen the movie that you have forgotten most of it anyways. Am not sure when I forgot about this movie, because I remember enjoying it when I saw it the first time.
GERALDINE'S FORTUNE is a 2004 Canadian movie starring Jane Curtin of the 1984-1989 television series KATE AND ALLIE fame.
It also stars comedian Mary Walsh of THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES fame.
The story is simple but also a real feeling to it, especially if you come from a big family and have experienced all the unique family dynamics that go with a big family.
A funny and quite enjoyable movie so I don't really mind that I watched it again, but I do need to get that database going so this type of situation does not happen again.
