Wow! What a surprise. Went hoping for a few good lines, maybe a funny joke or two, but ended up laughing my ass off.
Maybe it was the mood I was in or maybe it was actually that funny. Hard to believe after so many comedy flops lately.
Mark Wahlberg (aka Marky Mark, like a millennium ago) was spot on as the straight man. That's the guy who doesn't laugh even as everything around him is so funny making those things seem even funnier, not the guy who sleeps with women.
Will Ferrell was just as good as he was in Stranger Then Fiction only funny instead of sad. I have never found him funnier, but have to admit I have never really been a big fan of his.
Even The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson were funny to start the whole thing off.
Even though he played his part to a tee, a stereotypical movie police captain tee none the less, Micheal Keaton looked old, but had some of his old spark back.
Overall a very surprisingly funny movie and a very welcomed surprise.
