Sept 1st GHOST WORLD (DVD)

GHOST WORLD is one of the movies that I have heard about for years but never gotten around to actually watching, until now. Maybe when it first came out in 2001 it might have been an interesting movie.Now I found it boring and pointless. Couple of good performances from Scarlett Johansson and Steve Buscemi, but with a pretty bare script it is hard for them to go beyond that. Another example of why I should just watch movies I am interested in instead of movies I hear from others that are good. Sounds strange coming from someone who is writing a movie blog, but unless you know the types of movies the person enjoys watching and know there outlook on movies, you should not really be taking their advice. Mine included.
