Aug 27th THE NEVERENDING STORY (BACKYARD CINEMA)

The last movie of the summer in the park beside The 519 community centre presented by The Backyard Cinema was the 80's classic THE NEVERENDING STORY. This story gave me a great deal of enjoyment and wonder when I first watched it as a young man on DVD, actually it was on VHS back then. May not have completely survived the passage of time but it is still a very entertaining movie, especially with younger kids. The announcers at events like this have to act like no one has ever seen the movie before and stop giving away what happens in the movie. I wonder what movies THE BACKYARD CINEMA will be showing next summer?
