Since my father passed away three years ago, I do not celebrate Father's Day. Instead I decided to go to see a movie, since its something I don't get to do very often. He He He. Turns out that the movie I picked was mainly about a son's relationship with his father.
THE TREE OF LIFE is also like they took the artsiest, experimental, amateur film maker they could find, gave him 30 million dollars and all the equipment he needed and then told him to make the movie anyway he wanted. Over an hour of this movie could be cut out and have no ill effects to the story. I felt like I was watching the weather channel with my friend Alexis.
So artsy and out there its like they spliced two movies together.
Not one I would recommend, unless artsy is what you are going for. Definitely not for everyone.
