THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT was billed as one of the scariest possession movies of all times. Never believe what a movie is billed as. There is never any real danger to the characters who all come across as very flat. Of course there is the obligatory character who comes out of nowhere and knows everything. As annoying as Wesley Crusher on Star trek. Ever notice that the houses are always the real victims in these movies but no one ever cares about them, in fact they are usually burnt down or swallowed by the earth or left abandoned and alone.
