HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN had the potential of being a modern DEATH WISH, but does not come anywhere close to reaching its' potential.The action is there strictly to freak out the audience, with blood, gore and non moralistic, violence, but actually all it does it make the what happens in the movie unbelievable. Rutger Hauer is quite good as the Hobo but one actor can not save a bad movie. Especially a bad movie with lines of dialogue so terrible even the actors come across as being ashamed they are even saying them.
As a side note, in the theatre I saw this movie there was also a special screening of SCREAM 4, with the special guest being Neve Campbell. Its always interesting to see actors in person, instead of just on the screen.
