April 6th RICHIE RICH (DVD)

RICHIE RICH was a comic book I always enjoyed reading and also enjoyed the animated television series from the mid 80's. The movie was one I thought I had seen before and maybe even have but did not remember anything about it so I watched it again. The movie captures the look of the comic but does not have the same feel. The boy comes across as someone who needs others to guide him and help him solve his problems. Richie Rich was always a leader, even to his parents. Even so the movie is enjoyable, if not a little outdated. It was made in 1994. Wonder what Macaulay Culkin is doing nowadays?
