Feb 21st BITIFUL

A Spanish movie that seems to go beyond not only city but cultural region as well and speak of a father's desire to protect his family even from itself. How much can one protect when there is nothing one can do to save oneself. Some people find this movie difficult to watch and even confusing, as to what is going on at times. I found it complex and without clear cut black and white areas, much like real life. BITIFUL is a well made and definitely thought provoking movie and of course Javier Bardem is superb, again.
