Movies of this type are really only enjoyable if you know a little about the famous figure that the movie is about. If you know about John Lennon and about Paul McCartney then you will really enjoy this movie.
The problem is I have no idea how historically accurate the movie is and I have doubts because they do not use any of John Lennon's songs or The Beatles songs. Was more enjoyable just thinking it is a drama about a young man and his start in the music business then any specific person.
Aaron Johnson (KICKASS) did a great job as the Teenage John Lennon and Thomas Brodie Sangster is a great up and coming actor who plays 15 year old Paul McCartney (NANNY MCPHEE).
