When are we ever going to get away from remakes and sequels? Can we all just say enough is enough? Until that time here is another sequel.
WALL STREET came out in 1987 and stared Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen. This one stares Shia LaBeouf and Michael Douglas again. Unfortunately, not as interesting as the first one or as well written. There was too much focus on the family love story instead of the high finance revenge part of the story. Then of course there is the issue of the daughter. Totally out of sync with the first one but guess they are allowed some liberties with the story, in trying to modernize. Or maybe they felt they could not have a female actor playing someone greedy. At least not one with a big enough box office draw.
