Marion Hänsel tries to show the horror of nuclear war by showing us the relationships of young men on a french navy vessel in the late 70's.
What she does do is to show a "slice of life" of these young men that seems pointless and irrelevant. There is far too many shots showing scenes that convey nothing to the audience at all. Was not exciting or really that interesting at all.
One of the worst films of TIFF this year.
